Yes, we’re doing something scary: prelims, finals, feedback sessions, judges. Competition is scary, but we’re not hosting a dance competition. We’re not obsessed with winners or losers; we don’t care about your points. We want authenticity.
This isn’t about beating each other. This isn’t about seeing who can dance the same, but a challenge to be different. Whose unique style, authenticity, and training can inspire their friends to step up next. This is about creativity!
It’s simple: if you want to be celebrated for your hard work, devotion, and love for fusion dancing, then come show up. Don’t be afraid, because we’re not here to compete with each other, we’re here to throw the f**k down.
Mix n’ Matches
Our title competition is back!
Classic J&J-style dance competition. Dancers are judged as individuals in the prelims and as couples in the finals. This comp is designed for non-professional dancers. There is a 2h feedback session the following day with the judges to go over your scoresheet with you.
Prelims: Traditional J&J style, dancers ranked as individuals.
Semis: Traditional J&J style, dancers ranked as individuals.
Finals: Showcase style finals, judged as a couple.

Alright hot shots 🔥, this one is for you.
Entry requirements: You are a professional dancer OR have been dancing for 7 or more years.
Prelims: J&J-style self-judged dance competition. Dancers will be rotated 5 times and asked to rank their dances in order of preferences.
Semis: Traditional J&J style, dancers ranked as individuals.
Finals: Battle-style finals, judged as a couple.
A rigorous obstacle course of music genres to see who can handle the widest array of dance styles! You may encounter latin, pop, dubstep, jazz, polka, etc.
No prelims or finals – it’s all in one baybee. Enter as a couple (switching is welcome!), judges will tap in teams to move to the next round until there are two couples left, last couple standing wins!

Couples enter together and have the opportunity to practice ahead of time. Music will be tricky. 😈

A DJ competition where the audience judges how undanceable each track is. Judges will do their best to dance, and when they simply cannot, they will die dramatically on the floor. The song who “kills” the most people wins.
You may only enter ONE song per person.
There will be live mixed DJ battles ongoing throughout the weekend. Vote for your favorite DJ: you decide the finalists!

Keep an ear out: there will be a solo comp throughout the weekend that begin sometime after midnight. You enter by showing up at the right time – and win by being the last dancer standing (tap-out eliminations).
